How we help
You may be a parent/guardian (or autism professional) advising an autistic adult on how to get a job. We at Aspierations appreciate the extra time often needed to penetrate the autistic mindset and wish to help you in your invaluable work.Â
We’ve designed Steevie, a pioneering new digital platform, to automate some of the tasks one needs to perform such as writing a CV and Personal Statement. It is an autism-friendly one-stop-shop to help with the recruitment process. Once registered; users have an option to invite a mentor to join them. (You could suggest that you’d be happy to perform this role).
The autistic candidate will learn about their transferable skills and may for the first time develop a sense of self-worth. In addition, they will be able to access their legal right to a level playing field in terms of recruitment and job security by producing a bespoke list of reasonable adjustments that can be asked of a future employer.
The service is completely free for autistic users.
