Students of the the Faculty of Engineering at UCL’s School of Computer Science enjoyed an informative set of talks raising awareness of the challenges in the workplace awaiting neurodiverse graduates.

Nick Heckscher spoke about the importance of self-awareness and shared insights from across the Aspierations' membership base. Neil Glasgow from the Nationwide building society was next.  He described their 'CV-blind' recruitment model which has been designed to ease neurodiverse talent with digital skills coming in to the business.  Eleanor Demuth from Metro Bank talked about the relative merits of disclosing one's autism at work and the huge strain in masking the condition to colleagues if you choose not to.

There were representatives from Nationwide, Enterprise, Ramboll and Metrobank at this event held on 26th February.  A lovely lunch was enjoyed by all.
