Aspierations' Laurel Herman attended the 2019 Federation of Small Business Conference where they launched their "Small Business, Big Heart" Community Impact report. Nick Heckscher was interviewed by Emelia Quist while she was preparing for it.

One interesting idea was that larger companies be incentivised to provide access to occupational health provision for smaller companies.  This would greatly increase the level of support for employees with mental health issues.

Of the 1,876 small businesses that took part in the research (32% were sole traders) 19% employed an individual with a mental health condition within the last three years.
